Information for GHK-CU

GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring tripeptide that forms a stable square-planar complex with divalent copper ions, supporting its role as a redox-inactive copper carrier (Pickart, Vasquez Soltero, and Margolina 2012). It has been shown to regulate gene expression related to extracellular matrix remodeling, oxidative stress response, and proteostasis in in vitro models (Pickart and Margolina 2018; Pickart, Vasquez-Soltero, and Margolina 2015).
