Information for TB-500

TB-500 is a synthetic peptide derivative of thymosin β4 (Tβ4) whose biological activity remains unconfirmed; current research has instead focused on its metabolic degradation and analytical profiling (Rahaman et al. 2024). Among the identified metabolites, only Ac-LKKTE exhibited in vitro wound healing activity, indicating that previous functional effects attributed to TB-500 may be due to this specific metabolite (Rahaman et al. 2024).
